What Margin collects

Margin does not collect personal data. The app does not use an account, analytics, advertising, tracking, or cloud storage.

Where your notes stay

Your annotations, saved pages, favorites, and app settings are stored locally on your device. Safari extension data is stored by the app on that device. Margin does not upload this information to a server.

Information you choose to share

When you use the iPad share sheet to send a page to Margin, the page address and title are passed to the app so it can save that page in your local library. Margin does not send that information to us.

Changes to this policy

If the app’s data practices change, this page will be updated before those changes take effect in a new app version.
